Populations served range from early childhood through end of life.

Therapist specialties are comprehensive and address most areas of diagnostic concern. General childhood and adolescent development problems include: depression, emotional and sexual trauma, self esteem and low confidence, social anxiety, eating disorders and substance abuse, conduct disorders, and academic under achievement. Adult issues addressed include: depression, anxiety, panic disorders, stress management, family discord, substance abuse, eating disorders, marital distress, relationship and communications difficulties, divorce adjustment, employer-employee conflicts, executive coaching, grief and bereavement, divorce mediation, and co-parenting coordination.

Most therapists in the office utilize a cognitive behavioral orientation when treating their clients, although they additionally have expertise in other treatment modalities tailored to specific clients' needs.

Therapeutic Orientations

The therapists in the practice have been educated and trained in a variety of treatment modalities which are specifically individualized to each client problem. Cognitive behavioral, Gestalt, Dialectical Behavioral, Rational-Emotive, Play, Art, Psychodynamic, Motivational and Narrative, Sandtray and Family Systems are some of the intervention strategies utilized by our experienced clinicians. Our practice offers testing evaluations for ADHD and academic disabilities.

The office is well established with most health insurance programs and managed care networks. The administrative staff educates clients about various insurance payment options and when requested, offers alternatives for out-of-network payments. The support staff receives consistent high praise by clients and professional colleagues for their thoroughness, professionalism, follow-through and superior client communication and customer service.
